Hi there! My name is Phillis G, and I am a passionate and experienced home carer. I am also a qualified mental nurse since 2009 As a female carer with a wealth of experience in the field, I have primarily focused on providing live-in and overnight care to individuals in need. Throughout my career, I have worked with clients who exhibit a range of conditions, including mild cognitive impairment, bedbound patients, Parkinson's disease, anxiety, and depression.
One of the essential skills I possess is the ability to assist with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, and dressing. I am also well-versed in catheter care, ensuring the comfort and well-being of my clients. Moreover, I take pride in providing companionship and engaging in activities that bring joy and fulfilment to those in my care. Whether it's going for walks, dancing, playing card games, cooking and baking, or solving puzzles together, I believe that these activities not only create memorable moments but also enhance mental and emotional well-being.
In addition to my caregiving skills, I am also a reliable driver with my own car, allowing me to assist clients with transportation needs and errands. Furthermore, I am comfortable with various types of pets, including cats, dogs, lizards, turtles, and even snakes!
